GBK Pre-Emmy Gift Lounge 2013 is a Bonafide Hit!

This year's GBK Pre-Emmy Gift Lounge was even more than promised! Pulling up to the W Hotel in the heart of Hollywood, one could feel the energy before even walking inside. Once the car was handed over to the valet, it was up a set of red carpet spiraling stairs to the entrance. There, you could see celebrities everywhere and a ton of booths that looked to have some very promising stories and goodies!

The lounge was attended by celebrities from over 10 nominated shows including the host of the Primetime Emmy Awards, Neil Patrick Harris. Other fantastic guests attended, including Mary Murphy ("So You Think You Can Dance"), Meghan Ory ("Once Upon A Time"), Eden Sher ("The Middle") and many more!

GBK, the luxury lifestyle gift lounge and special events company, honored the 2013 Emmy Award Nominees and Presenters at their annual Gift Lounge which featured a range of great gifts and brands including some great charities. With combined efforts from GBK and the event's Presenting Sponsor, NEW Tidy Cats LightWeight 24/7 Performance, a total of $49,000 was raised for Charity.

The GUARDaHEART Foundation booth was instantly a favorite due in large part to the Director Rose Hancock's passion for her charity. The GUARDaHEART Foundation, a non-profit foundation dedicated to raising awareness of heart disease prevention by spreading the word to guard your heart and save your life, was on site offering complimentary cardiac risk blood tests and to promote their savethe1.org campaign. Rose went over how unfortunately most of the preventative measures we're using today aren't testing everything they can, and a lot of people still run the risk of heart problems.
