Every year for the past 10 years I have dressed up as Santa and put antlers on my dog so that she looks like a reindeer. I arrive at the front door and bring my little sister Sophia a small gift or toy. It was Christmas Eve, and Andy Fickman, the Director of "Race to Witch Mountain" called my cell while I was skiing on Whistler Mountain to tell me that I had the role of "Seth" in the movie. While traveling with my family in Burma, we were fortunate enough to get the know the people of the villages and to give the children small toys for Christmas. It was a true awakening. Two years ago, The Song Trust (a group of music industry veterans including singer/songwriter's) released a special song called "Bring Him Home Santa." The voice on the single was an anonymous six year old, who was asking Santa to bring her Dad home for the Holidays. Part of the point of the song was to show that a good song doesn't necessarily have to be sung by an established star.
