The Maturo Brothers Talk Making "Girl Meets World" a Family Affair!
There's no sibling rivalry between brothers August and Ocean Maturo. The two sibling don't even mind sharing a birthday! On August 28th, 2016, August (Auggie) turns nine, while Ocean turns five! On Friday, August 26, the brothers will share something else... August's role as "Auggie Matthews on the Disney Channel hit, "Girl Meet's World!"
In the episode titled "Girl Meets Bear," Ocean will play his real life brother's character in a flashback scene. We spoke to both Maturo boys recently about what is was like to work on the same show together. Of course, they thought it was a blast!

America's Got Talent is Back to Find This Year's Newest Sensation!
It's one of summer's most entertaining shows, combining talents of different kinds of genres with a panel of judges who have years of entertainment experience under their belts. "America's Got Talent" returns, live, on August 23 to begin the countdown to one act winning the chance of a lifetime.

VARIETY CELEBRATED ANSEL ELGORT, CAMERON DALLAS, ELLE FANNING AND JADEN SMITH AT THE POWER OF YOUNG HOLLYWOOD EVENT
Variety celebrated an esteemed group of young actors, musicians, digital influencers and more at their Power of Young Hollywood event, presented by PixHug. The event was in conjunction with Variety's Power of Young Hollywood issue, which hit stands on Tuesday, August 16. The issue also featured the Youth Impact Report that profiles 25 and under actors, actresses, directors, musicians and artists who have made an impact in the business this year.
Additionally, Variety partnered with brand new app Pixhug to help raise funds for charities supported by the Power of Young Hollywood honorees. Pixhug is currently available to download via the ITunes App Store. Attendees of the event, included Peyton List, Bethany Mota, Olivia Holt, Kira Kosarin, Joey King, Garrett Clayton, Tammin Sursok, Becky G, Chloe Bennet, Kerris Dorsey, and many others. Nickelodeon's "Make it Pop" Makes a Splash This Summer With a 1 Hour Special Event!
XO-IQ is thrilled to win a coveted spot as the house band at the exclusive Sparkview Resort. The gang thinks they have scored a summer of fun in the sun. However, they encounter a few bumps along the way and it isn't exactly smooth sailing.

The Stars of "Pete's Dragon" Gather For A Magical Hollywood Premiere!
A remake of the classic 1977 film, the beloved "Pete's Dragon" will soar into theaters on August 12. Starring relative newcomers like Oakes Fegley and Oona Laurence, the film also boasts the talents of Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bentley and the legendary, Robert Redford.
The story centers around an orphaned boy named "Pete" who is found by well-meaning adults. However, the adults don't believe that Pete has a very real, very special friend, a dragon named Elliott. Will Pete be able to combine the best of both worlds and find a way to keep loving everyone?
The stars of the movie recently celebrated the premiere in Hollywood at the El Capitan theater. Check it out:

Backstage Creations Hosts A Celebrity Retreat in Honor of FOX's "Teen Choice Awards!"
Hopefully, you were glued to the TV on July 31 as FOX presented the 2016 "Teen Choice Awards" and caught all the action on-stage like rocking performances by Charlie Puth and Flo Rida. Most of your fave celebs were on-hand to present or accept awards. We loved seeing the likes of the "Pretty Little Liars" cast, the cast of Fuller House," Cameron Dallas, Lea Michele, the "Teen Wolf" crew, Keke Palmer and so many others!
So that was happening on-stage, but we know what was happening backstage! For over 15 years, Backstage Creations has been pairing great products with celebrities by hosting "Backstage Retreats" at various awards shows and special events. They really rolled out the red carpet at the famous venue, The Forum, in Inglewood, California on July 30 and 31st so performers, presenters and nominees of FOX's "Teen Choice Awards" could get introduced to some awesome companies and products. Stars like Janel Parrish, Skai Jackson, Tyler Posey, Anthony Anderson, Peyton Meyer, Nolan Gould, and event co-host Victoria Justice met with vendors and tried out products on-site.

ABC Hits All The Right Notes During Country's Night to Rock!
Our team had a phenomenal time in Music City, however, if you weren’t able to make it to CMA Music Fest in Nashville in June, don’t worry! We Talk With Disney Channel "Descendants" Star... Booboo Stewart!
"Twilight" fans remember him best as "Seth Clearwater," the youngest in the wolf pack but Disney Channel fans know him as "Jay" on the extremely popular original movie "Descendants."
Fans of both of those films packed the Charleston Town Center in Charleston, WV, to meet the young actor, grab a photo with him and get an autograph.
Booboo spent a lot of time with each and every person who waited in line, conversing about acting, his past roles and projects that will be released soon.

Marvel Studios Talks New Releases By Bringing Major Star Power to Fans at Comic-Con
Every movie lover knows that San Diego is the place to be in July for Comic-Con and Marvel Studios planned big surprises for the folks who made the journey and were lucky enough to attend their panel at the massive event.
The entertainment company that brings most of our favorite superheroes to life, took the opportunity to unveil a new logo and release the logos for upcoming releases like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Thor: Ragnarok.

The Competition Was Tough at the 2016 Kids' Choice Sports Awards!
They keep us on the edge of our seats during nail-biting competitions, serve as role-models for those who need motivation to achieve our goals, and spend much of their life training and perfecting (usually) one talent. Let's face it... athletes rule! Nickelodeon gave them their due credit with the third annual, Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards. The final decision was in your hands as you cast your vote for your sporty faves!
For the second year in a row, (but for the first time as a newlywed) Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson, hosted the festivities that took place in UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. The show aired on July 17 on Nickelodeon.

Fun & Educational! The Cast Of "Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street" Makes A Special Appearance Right Before The New Season Hits Amazon!
Students from Downey's Sussman Middle School were treated to a special screening of Amazon's original series "Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street" on Monday at the Google Venice office. The episode featured a specially designed 3D printed dress, which was worn by actress Ashley Boettcher. Ashley and cast mates Sloane Morgan Siegel, Chandler Kinney and Coco Grayson were on site for a Q&A following the screening, they were also joined by Google engineer, Kim Swennen.
The cast answered questions about the fitting process and how the dress was made, the importance of Computer Science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in TV/Film and addressed fan questions about working on the show. The group also had a 3D printing demonstration by Diego Porqueras from Deezmaker, who printed 3D keychains for everyone.

The Disney Channel Premieres It's 100th DCOM - "Adventures in Babysitting!"
The Disney Channel has a long history of creating original movies that leave a lasting impression on us (think the Cheetah Girls, Lemonade Mouth and High School Musical!) and creating mega-superstars like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Its 100th DCOM is sure to carry on the tradition. A new take on the popular film from the 80's, "Adventure's in Babysitting" follows two babysitters with wildly different styles through one unforgettable night.
The film features two of Disney Channel's biggest stars, Sabrina Carpenter from "Girl Meets World," and Sofia Carson who plays "Evie" in another DCOM that took the TV world by storm called "The Descendants." The two talented actresses work well with a fun supporting cast of up-and-coming actors like Max Gecowets, Nikki Hahn, Jet Jurgensmeyer, Mallory James Mahoney, and Madison Horcher.

It hard to believe that it has been six years since Tim Burton and Walt Disney Pictures joined forces to create the visual spectacle that is "Alice in Wonderland." For the sequel, "Alice Through the Looking Glass," Mr. Burton handed the reigns over to director, James Bobin, who captured the orginal's spirit and stunning visual playground perfectly.
The stars who brought your favorite characters to life in the first film like Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter reprise their roles in the cinematic adventure that opens nationwide on Friday, May 27th. CMA Music Fest 2016 is Taking Over Nashville! Country Music Fans Plan Your Trip Now!
If you love, love, LOVE country music, a trip to the CMA Music Fest should be at the top of your "To Do" list this year. Almost all of your favorite country music performers will be in Music City with the common goal of thanking of you, the fans, for your loyal support.
Music is literally on almost every corner during CMA Music Fest! It is the perfect time to check out new artists and add new music to your play list! Are you totally fine with your regular favorites? Check their schedule! Chances are they have a lot going on that week too and you’re invited to be right there while they are “working.”
Officially, CMA Music Fest is June 9 through June 12. That should be plenty of time for people with limited number of vacation days to have an amazing weekend full of great music. It’s highly recommended to try to get Nashville early for all the pre-activities if you can though. We recommend arriving on Sunday, June 5, getting plenty of rest, and then diving into all the cool stuff on Monday!

The votes are tallied and a star-studded, rockin', celebration takes place in Los Angeles, so the winners can collect their reward.
This year... the show takes place LIVE in Los Angeles on April 30 and then The Disney Channel will air a TWO-HOUR special on May 1.

The Cast and Crew of the Highly-Anticipated Marvel Release, "Captain America: Civil War" Unite For a Hollywod Premiere!
In the movie their characters are at odds, but Chris Evans (Captain America) and Robert Downey, Jr. (Iron Man), along with their fellow cast and crew members and actor friends, gathered in Hollywood to celebrate the release of their next big screen adventure, "Captain America: Civil War!" The rest of the us will get to see the Marvel release when it hits the big screen on May 6. We can't wait!

The New Nickelodeon Series is Out Of This World! "The Other Kingdom" Premieres on April 10th.
In Athenia, Astral is a Fairy Princess, who wants to see what being human is all about. When her wish is granted, she has 90 days to decide whether or not to stay human or return to her kingdom. Based on a true story, "The Finest Hours" coasts into theaters on January 29. Directed by Craig Gillespie, and starring an amazing cast (including Chris Pine and Casey Affleck), the movie brings to life a heroic rescue attempt made by the The Coast Guard during a blizzard in 1952.
An epic adventure on the water, the film will keep you on the edge of your seat! The stars of the film, along with the filmmakers and even the real-life Veterans on whom the film is based, walked the Red Carpet at a special Hollywood premiere!
