Nickelodeon's big time pop group Big Time Rush ascended on New York this week for the premiere of their newest Nickelodeon special "Big Time Movie" which throws the guys into a big adventure while in the midst of travelling to London for their World Tour. We got the chance to snap some photos of the guys and their fellow Nick stars and friends on the "orange" carpet. One Direction, Ciara Bravo, Challen Cates, Al Roker, Kelly Rutherford and Tanya Chisolm, along with the guests of honor, are just some of the people we captured posing for the photogs. NBC’S “Awake” is a Dream Job for Actor, Dylan Minnette!

On Thursday, March 1, 2012, NBC will begin airing a unique new show called “Awake.” In this original concept show, a man by the name of Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs) finds himself in a very strange predicament.  A devastating car wreck leaves Michael caught between two realities. In one realm, his wife has survived the accident and his son died.  However, when Michael falls asleep he wakes up in an alternate world, where his son Rex is alive and well and his wife is gone.  In both worlds, Michael is still a working detective with different ongoing cases to solve.  Sounds interesting (to say the least) right?

Fifteen-year old Dylan Minnette was thrilled to be cast as “Rex Britten” in this new television event. We recently chatted with the talented actor about everything from how he got started in acting, to his love of the music festival, Coachella, and of course, this new series that adds another hour of “Must See TV” to our week.

Glamming it Up / GBK Gift Lounge Oscars Edition

Hollywood has been a buzz over the last month or so with the preparations for, parties celebrating and now completed biggest awards show of them all, the Oscars. Billions watched, thousands attended, awards were given, pictures taken, controversy created (does Angelina Jolie’s right leg have a mind of its own? Is Natalie Portman married? Could Sasha Baron Cohen face criminal charges for his Dictator stunt on the red carpet? Did J.Lo pull a Janet Jackson on stage?).

Just before the celebs took their glitz and glamour to the red carpet, they stopped by the W Hotel in the heart of Hollywood to mingle, test out new and existing products, munch on tasty treats and take home whatever they desired at the Academy Awards GBK Lounge. Each year during the awards season GBK hosts the celebrity gifting lounges to raise money for varying charities. This year they raised over $91,000. Participating foundations for the Academy Awards lounge were The Worldteam Foundation, the HollyRod Foundation, Drawing Hope International and The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation. 3/30 "The Sword in the Stone Part 2" (Season Finale) With Camelot firmly in the grasp of Morgana and her reign of terror, Merlin must go to extraordinary measures to restore Arthur’s faith and prove to the young King that he was truly born to rule.

Arthur has seen his kingdom overthrown by Morgana (Katie McGrath) and the powerful Southron warlord Helios (Terence Maynard) – and discovered his most trusted uncle Agravaine (Nathaniel Parker) has deceived him. But Merlin (Colin Morgan) guides Arthur (Bradley James) to one the most iconic symbols of the Arthurian legend to prove his worth: The sword in the stone.

The Muppets Make a Triumphant Return!

It had been 12 years since a Muppet movie had been released before Jason Segel ("How I Met Your Mother") decided to take matters into his own hands and write a new one. Bringing all your favorite characters to the big screen and adding a few more was no small task, but Jason and his fellow filmmakers successfully returned the furry friendly gang to their big time glory. In "The Muppets" we meet Walter, the world's biggest Muppets fan. He and his brother Gary (Segel) and Gary's girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) travel from Smalltown USA to Los Angeles for vacation, and to try to meet their heroes. It is then that they find out that a rich oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) is planning on tearing down the studio where the Muppets filmed in order to drill for oil discovered underground there. Gary, Walter and Mary set out to track down the Muppets and get them back together to raise money to stop the evil plan and save their precious studio.

“Footloose” Features Fun, Flings, and Some Fancy Footwork!

Remaking a beloved, fan favorite is always risky, but this version of the 80’s classic does a good job of updating this story for a new generation.  In this new “Footloose,” city-slicker “Ren” is sent to live with his uncle in a backwoods town in Georgia.  Ren isn’t really a trouble maker, but most of the people in town have already stereo-typed him.  That kind of makes them equal, since Ren has prepared himself to hate small town living.

When Ren starts school he meets the preacher’s daughter “Ariel,” and finds out that they share a love of dancing.  The problem with that is… dancing has been outlawed in this town.  A few years before Ren arrived, teenagers were killed in a car accident after leaving a dance that no parents knew was taking place.  This created a lockdown on the next generation of teenagers.

It doesn’t take too long for Ren to find a new group of friends and they rally together to get dancing allowed again.  Can a band of rebel rousers change scarred parents and authorities figures minds? They teens certainly have their work cut out for them.

The film gets bonus points for a very likable cast.  Kevin Wormald plays “Ren” to “Dancing With the Stars’” alum Julianne Hough’s “Ariel.”  Scene stealer, Miles Teller, plays Ren’s best friend “Willard.” The talented cast is rounded out by Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell as Ariel’s parents.

More bonus points are awarded for the dance scenes in the movie.  The new moves are fun to watch and will leave you asking “How do they do that?”  The soundtrack sticks pretty close to the original with current country crooner, Blake Shelton, singing the film’s iconic theme song “Footloose.”  New stars, Victoria Justice (“Victorious”) and Hunter Hayes put a fresh spin on the classic love song “Almost Paradise.”  The soundtrack is definitely worth checking out too.

Finally! “Puss In Boots” Gets His Own Tale!

We fell in love with him in the “Shrek” movies and now “Puss in Boots” gets his own movie! The adventure, mischief and antics are all his in this fun film!

This time around, we find out how the hero became a legend before he knew Shrek and the gang.  In pursuit of the magic beans that will grow the beanstalk that takes him to the golden eggs, Puss in Boots joins forces with Humpty Dumpty to find great fortune.  They are met with resistant forces and other characters who want the beans for themselves.  No fairy tale is safe from being spoofed in this funny fable.

An all-star cast of voices help make this film fun for the whole family.  Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris are just the top tier of talent that brings this story to life.
