Corbin Bleu Set to Show 'Another Side' With His Debut CD - to Be Released May 1
Corbin Bleu, star of Disney Channel's Jump In! and smash hit High School Musical is set to release his debut album, Another Side, on May 1 on Disney's Hollywood Records. A bonus DVD will be available on the initial shipment featuring the video for "Push It To The Limit," live performances from the sold out "High School Musical: The Concert" of "Push It To The Limit" and "Marchin'," and a personal interview with Corbin.
The album, Another Side, is an "R&B Pop album," explains Corbin, and will "show another side of me, singing in many genres." Corbin even co-wrote five of the songs; something he never imagined he could do. "I've always dabbled on my piano, but I was never serious about it," he says. "I am so excited to be doing this -- this will be the first time people will hear just my voice!"
Corbin's solo album debut comes after his fast trajectory to stardom among kids, tweens, and families. The talented performer debuted the single "Push It To The Limit" on the soundtrack to the record-breaking Disney Channel Original Movie Jump In! in which he starred (he chose the song for his solo album as well.) Its music video premiered on Disney Channel and became a viewer favorite while frequent requests drove the song to #1 on Radio Disney. The video for his new single, "Deal With It," premiered on AOL April 5, and debuted on Disney Channel April 6, delivering nearly 4 million viewers. Having wrapped principal photography on High School Musical 2 this week, Corbin will next perform at the opening ceremonies for Disney Channel Games 2007, a global event to air in June beginning on Disney Channel U.S., as well as around the world.
At age 18, Corbin is already a seasoned performer, having toured last winter on the sold out "High School Musical: The Concert." This May, Corbin reprises his crowd-pleasing performance as the tour continues in South America. This summer he will tour with Hollywood Records' Aly & AJ.
Corbin has achieved critical acclaim as well. The Los Angeles Times named him one of their "Faces to Watch in 2007" and Corbin will appear on Good Morning America May 1 and MTV's TRL on May 2. Disney.com also has exclusive content and highlights Corbin's music and videos.

NBC ADDS '30 ROCK' TO 2007-08 PRIMETIME SEASON WITH EARLY RENEWAL OF CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED COMEDY
NBC will renew its critically acclaimed comedy "30 Rock" (returning to the network's lineup on Thursday, April 5, with a special supersized episode at 8:40 p.m. - 9:20 p.m. ET for the 2007-08 season, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, NBC Entertainment. The series will settle into its new time period of 9:00 - 9:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 12 for the remaining episodes.
"From the beginning, '30 Rock' has proven to be the kind of quality comedy that doesn't come around very often, and we are very pleased to have this show back for a second season," said Reilly. "We expect it to continue to build its increasingly loyal audience and become another of NBC's classic comedy series."
The freshman comedy has earned critical plaudits since its premiere last October while Alec Baldwin, one of the series stars, won Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for his spot-on performance as Jack Donaghy, a brash network executive. In addition, "30 Rock" has received extensive praise from the nation's television critics - including magazines such as TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly and People, that have included the comedy on many of their "Top 10" lists of favorite series for 2006-07.
"30 Rock" is told through the comedic voice of the Emmy Award-winning Tina Fey (NBC's "Saturday Night Live," "Mean Girls") and features Baldwin ("The Departed," "The Cooler") as Donaghy, who has turned the show upside down with his meddling ways. Fey, as the single Liz Lemon, is living every comedy writer's dream -- head writer on a demanding, live TV program in New York City.
Her life is jolted when Donaghy interferes with her show, and bullies Lemon into convincing Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan, "Saturday Night Live," "The Longest Yard"), a wild and unpredictable movie star, to join the cast. Now Lemon must manage the unmanageable so that the show -- and her dream -- can go on.
Also rounding out the cast in the half-hour comedy are: Jane Krakowski ("Ally McBeal") as Jenna Maroney, the other star of "TGS With Tracy Jordan"; Scott Adsit as Pete Hornberger, the variety show's producer; Jack McBrayer as Kenneth the Page, the over-eager NBC Page -- a highly sought-after, entry-level position with the network; and Judah Friedlander as Frank, the crass and wisecracking writer. Rachel Dratch, also from "Saturday Night Live," appears in multiple episodes, playing a variety of different characters on the series.

NBC PRESENTS THE LATEST BRAND NEW BEHIND-THE-SCENES 'SNL' SPECIAL: 'SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE IN THE '90S: POP CULTURE NATION'ON SUNDAY, MAY 6 (9:00–11:00 PM, ET)
All-Star Line-Up Including Dana Carvey, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Mike Myers
and Chris Rock Tell Tales From "SNL"'s Recent Past
Continuing to tell the story of "Saturday Night Live," NBC presents a new installment of the compelling behind-the-scenes documentary series chronicling the highs and lows of the iconic comedy show -- "Saturday Night Live in the '90s: Pop Culture Nation" – on Sunday, May 6, 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. ET.
Following up on his Emmy-nominated and critically acclaimed documentaries "Live From New York: The First 5 Years of Saturday Night Live," and "Saturday Night Live in the '80s: Lost and Found," writer-director-producer Kenneth Bowser (Emmy nominee for "John Ford/John Wayne; The Filmmaker & The Legend," "Easy Riders & Raging Bulls") has created a look at the stratospheric reach of the show in the 90s. The decade saw "SNL" going from being named "a national institution" by the prestigious Peabody Awards to being deemed "Saturday Night Dead" by the press a mere two years later…only to return stronger than ever.
"This new 'Saturday Night Live in the '90s' special is funny, dramatic and filled with great clips and new interviews featuring the biggest comedy stars of today," said Rick Ludwin, Executive Vice President, Late Night and Primetime Series, NBC Entertainment. " These are the backstage stories that made headlines. For viewers who grew up watching and became fans of 'SNL' in the '90s, this is your night."
The stories take the show all over the map – from the early nineties with one of its strongest (and largest) casts in history and the phenomenal success of "Wayne's World" on the big screen to bitter clashes with the network culminating in the firing of the anchor of "Weekend Update." It also deals with the loss of two of the show's brightest stars and ultimately, the show's return to form later in the decade with an entirely new cast. This is the decade that has produced the leading comedy stars working today, including Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Mike Myers, Chris Rock and Adam Sandler.
Among the new and candid interviews are creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels, many of the stars of the show including: Dana Carvey, Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Ana Gasteyer, Darrell Hammond, Chris Kattan, Norm Macdonald, Mark McKinney, Tim Meadows, Tracy Morgan, Mike Myers, Kevin Nealon, Cheri Oteri, Colin Quinn, Chris Rock, Molly Shannon, David Spade, Julia Sweeney and two cast members who became comedy stars after their time at "SNL:" David Koechner and Sarah Silverman. In addition, two of the most prolific hosts in SNL history – Alec Baldwin and John Goodman also offer insights.
In addition to the comedy superstars recounting their time in Studio 8H, the film includes some of the leading comedic writers and directors working today including former head writers Tim Herlihy, who went on to pen some of Sandler's biggest hits including "The Wedding Singer," and "Happy Gilmore," and writer-director Adam McKay who has paired with Ferrell for two of his biggest blockbusters, "Anchorman" and "Talladega Nights." SNL producers and veteran writers Al Franken, Tom Davis, Jim Downey and Robert Smigel and current co-head writer Paula Pell also share their stories.
Once again, while this film transcends the traditional retrospective clip show, it is jam-packed with classic moments from the decade, including "Wayne's World," "Church Chat," the Spartan Spirit Cheerleaders, Opera Man, Motivational Speaker Matt Foley, Nat X, Stuart Smalley, "Celebrity Jeopardy," "It's Pat," "The Ladies Man," Mary Katherine Gallagher, "Hollywood Minute," the Roxbury guys, Hans & Franz, "Sprockets," The Richmeister, Chris Farley's Chippendale's Audition with a healthy helping of "More Cowbell."
These are the stories fans haven't heard - all presented in the same funny, fast-paced, nostalgic format that earned "The First 5 Years" an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Non-Fiction Special. The stories from the '90s are framed and propelled by the best musical acts of the decade, including: Aerosmith, Christina Aguilera, Barenaked Ladies, Beck, Blues Traveler, Sheryl Crow, Dave Matthews Band, En Vogue, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Gin Blossoms, Macy Gray, Green Day, Nirvana, Oasis, Pearl Jam and R.E.M.

ABC'S "GENERAL HOSPITAL" BREAKS NEW GROUND
WITH EXPLOSIVE STORYLINE TOLD IN REAL TIME
Kin Shriner Returns as Scott Baldwin;
ESPN's Stephen A. Smith to Also Appear
On the January 26th episode of "General Hospital," a massive explosion interrupts a charity fundraiser at Port Charles' swankiest location - the Metro Court Hotel - putting the lives of many prominent residents at risk. Immediately following, the show fades to black as the clock turns back 16 hours before the explosion and explains the events - which includes a massive hostage takeover - that led up to the disaster. Each subsequent episode throughout the end of January and into February will be told in real time, as each episode will move forward one hour. As previously announced, the February Sweep storyline will coincide with the anticipated return of Kin Shriner as Laura Spencer's ex-husband, Scott Baldwin, who has been out of town. Both announcements were made by Brian Frons, president, Daytime, Disney-ABC Television Group.
"This story is an exciting, emotional roller-coaster told like never before in daytime history," said Mr. Frons.
"This is a very exciting time for 'General Hospital,' as we are continually looking for ways to raise the bar in how we produce a daily drama. This is an interesting and captivating way to tell a story that will expertly intertwine all of the show's characters together," says executive producer Jill Farren Phelps.
In addition, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith will make an appearance in the February 2nd episode as a reporter covering the hostage situation as it unfolds. The on-air personality has been a fan of "General Hospital" since he was five years old. Mr. Smith adds: "It was a wonderful experience all-around. Meeting many of the actors on the show - including Steve Burton (Jason) and Greg Vaughan (Lucky) - was very exciting and a dream come true. Let this be a lesson to all the ladies out there: There are men who love the soaps."

"Lil' JJ is a star for Nick and a champion for kids," said Tom Ascheim, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Nickelodeon Television, of the 16-year-old Arkansas native who segues from hosting "Friday Night Slimetime" and recurring on the sketch comedy series All That and now in Just Jordan. "His smart, unabashed sense of humor about everyday kid injustices is the perfect ingredient for Lil JJ's very own show and poises him to become the Seinfeld of his generation."
In the series, Jordan is a recent transplant from Little Rock to Los Angeles -- mom Pam's (Shania Accius) hometown. He's just a regular teen trying to finding his footing in his new world, splitting his time between school and waiting tables at his curmudgeonly grandpa's (Beau Billingslea, Cowboy Bebop) legendary diner, Papa Grant's Fish 'n Grill. What little time he has left over is spent trying to ingratiate his new friends including school heartthrob/jock Tony (Justin Chon, Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior), witty cousin Tangie (Raven Goodwin, Lovely and Amazing) and preppy, politically minded Joaquin (Eddy Martin, Rebound) -- as well as his adoring, albeit style-cramping little sister Monica (Kristen Combs). And he has a huge crush on snooty, but beautiful Tamika (Chelsea Harris) -- the un-gettable girl.
Deep in his heart, Jordan knows the truth: being a kid sometimes just isn't fair! Each week he and his pals deal with some of the great kid injustices, such as "Why do girls say they like the nice guys but only want to date the roughnecks?" or "How come sometimes you do all the work but don't get the credit?" And he periodically breaks the fourth wall to express his POV. Whatever happens, this take-charge teen isn't going to take it lying down like all the other teenaged sheep out there.
In the 7:30 p.m. series premiere, "Air Jordan," a disgruntled Jordan loses his spot on the freshman basketball team to Tony after his desire to make a big impression causes him to hog the ball and showboat. To add insult to injury, Tony turns up at his side as the new part-time waiter at Grandpa Grant's diner. The two teens go over the top competing with each other -- until they discover that by teaming up, they both can be winners. Then, at 8:00 p.m. in "Fools in the Hood," Jordan, Tony and Joaquin put on a tough-guy act to attract girls. It works like a charm with Tamika who accepts Jordan's invitation to the school carnival. However, he's courting nothing but trouble when a bunch of real hoodlums blow his masquerade -- and it's mom to the rescue.
Dubbed "The Prince of Comedy" in his hometown of Little Rock, Lil' JJ excelled in school and grabbed attention as a class clown. His gym teacher, Ken Bright, who serves as consulting producer on Just Jordan, spotted something exceptional beyond the practical jokes and helped the fledgling talent get his start doing comic skits at an open mike program at a local restaurant. Lil' JJ's big break came when he entered BET's stand-up comedy competition "Coming to the Stage" and defeated challengers two and three times his age. His win brought him to the attention of NBC's The Tonight Show, where his performance impressed viewers of all ages.
Subsequently he appeared on Showtime at the Apollo and made his feature film debut starring opposite Oscar nominee Queen Latifah in MGM's Beauty Shop. Earlier this year, he appeared opposite stars Anthony Mackie and Wayne Brady in the independent film Crossover, an urban drama about the competitive underground world of street basketball. As part of a development deal with Nick Movies, the breakout actor/comedian, who co-starred last year in the Nick Movies/Paramount Pictures release Yours, Mine and Ours, will executive produce and star in a feature film based on his real-life rags to riches tale. He recently headlined BET's Teens of Comedy 20-city tour featuring five teenage up-and-coming stand-up comedians.

The N Premieres Its First Sketch Comedy Special The Brandon T. Jackson Show Friday, November 24 At 9:00 P.M. (ET)
Special Includes Celebrity Guests Wayne Brady, Chris Brown and Sinbad with Musical Performance by Nelly Furtado
Brandon T. Jackson is a true-to-life "son of a preacher man," who's delivering his hometown Detroit humor to teens across America in his very first sketch comedy special, The Brandon T. Jackson Show. The N, the nighttime network for teens, premieres the new half-hour special Friday, November 24 at 9:00 p.m. (ET).
Nothing is off limits for Jackson, the 20-year-old comedic wunderkind, grabbing from today's outrageous headlines of celebrity fodder to politically incorrect humor with mock skits of Angelina Jolie and Osama Bin Laden. The Brandon T. Jackson Show is co-created and executive produced by Jackson and Emmy Award-winning comedian Wayne Brady who also stars in the special. The special also features celebrity guests Chris Brown and Sinbad, as well as a musical performance by Nelly Furtado.
"The Brandon T. Jackson Show features a unique brand of sketch comedy that is sure to be a hit with our teen viewers," said Sarah Tomassi Lindman, Vice President, Production and Programming, The N. "The filter through which Brandon views the world, combined with his irreverence and quick wit makes for a great half-hour of comedy."
The special includes the following four sketch comedy skits written and performed by Jackson and Brady:
Adoption Idol -- How does Angelina Jolie decide on a new sibling for Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh Nouvelle? Well, she holds an Adoption Idol competition of course! Baby Brandon and the rest of the Jackson cast partake in an "American Idol" type competition to see who can join the ever growing Jolie-Pitt family.
Game Unit -- Every hot rapper today has a sneaker deal so why shouldn't the original gangster, Game Unit be any different? Brandon plays a rap star that showcases his new line of shoe wear -- The Game Unit 2000. Game Unit spreads the word to his legion of fans that the sneaker "is not just a shoe ... it's a way of life."
Sweet 16 -- You are cordially invited into the cave dwellings of fictional character, Reggie Bin Laden (Brandon Jackson), one of the many children of terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden (Wayne Brady). Reggie's turning 16 on a mock episode of the famed MTV reality series My Super Sweet 16, and he's determined that his birthday be the underground party of the year. R&B artist Chris Brown makes a cameo appearance.
While growing up in Detroit, Jackson found school to be dull and unbearable, but comedy provided him the perfect outlet to get through it. This self-titled "class clown" honed his comedy skills by performing in talent shows at youth nights at his father's church. By the time Jackson was teenager, his career as a stand-up comic evolved from local school shows to community projects such as the Motor City Youth Festival. Jackson continued on his road to success when his internship at local Detroit radio station led to a guest-host position its rival station. As his following grew, so did his hunger for stand-up comedy. Soon Jackson was working side-by-side with many of today's top comedians, including Chris Tucker and Wayne Brady, and delivered side-splitting performances at New York City's legendary Showtime at the Apollo and BET's Comic View. He quickly made the transition from stand-up comedian to Hollywood actor when he was cast in his first major movie role as Bow Wow's former best friend "Junior" in the motion picture Roll Bounce.
In the past year, Jackson launched and hosted the Teens of Comedy Tour (featuring Lil JJ and presented by BET) and served as host on singer Chris Brown's 30-city U.S. Tour. Jackson's upcoming projects include a starring role in the indie film Cuttin the Mustard and a character role opposite Rob Schnieder in Big Stan. A national tour is currently in the works for his comedy show featuring other talented young comedians and musicians. One of seven siblings, Jackson draws upon his comedy from his childhood experiences in the inner city and credits his sense of humor to his dad, Bishop Wayne T. Jackson (his mother also serves as the Pastor of their church). Jackson counts comedians Sinbad, Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock as his source of inspiration and much of his comedy touches upon politics, the ups and downs of being young, dating and God. He aspires to be the funniest man in America -- without cursing -- and hopes to reshape the world of comedy into one that inspires, teaches and uplifts people.
Along with Emmy Award winner and comedian Wayne Brady, both actors co- created, starred and executive produced the half-hour special. Brady recently wrapped the independent film I'm Perfect and the romantic comedy Crossover with Anthony Mackie and Sydney Timiia Poitier. Last fall he finished a run on the Broadway production of Chicago.

Nickelodeon TV Movie Event Unfabulous: The Perfect Moment Starring Emma Roberts Premieres Friday, October 6, 8-9 P.M. (ET/PT)
Addie Crashes Wedding to Court Romance with Jake in Big Comic Adventure Set in Chinatown
Nickelodeon presents a super-sized comic adventure starring Emma Roberts in Unfabulous: The Perfect Moment, a television movie event premiering Friday, October 6 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT). The one-hour telefilm set in Chinatown finds awkwardly adorable tunesmith Addie Singer (Roberts) taking a wedding-crashing chance on romance when her crush, Jake, returns from a summer in Canada to attend his cousin's nuptials.
The hit TEENick series Unfabulous, currently in its second season, will air regularly in TEENick's new Sunday lineup at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning October 1, and launch its third season in first quarter 2007.
"What's especially fun about the movie is that we get to see Addie and her friends outside the regular series environment of school and home. Having them in Chinatown adds another level of excitement, alongside the ticking clock of whether or not she finally connects with Jake," said Nickelodeon's Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Current Series and Development. "Most exciting is that it all could culminate with her and Jake finally expressing their feelings for one another."
An entire summer has flown by since Jake (Raja Fenske) left for Canada, leaving Addie forlorn that she never opened her heart to him. When she hears via the rumor mill at school that he's back for one weekend only -- and that he may have rekindled romance with an old flame -- she vows to track him down at his cousin's wedding and reveal her feelings once and for all. Meanwhile, feeling the sting of romantic rejection, Addie's brother Ben (Tadhg Kelly) sets out to shadow Jen's new boyfriend in Chinatown -- and so agrees to chauffeur his little sister and her pals Geena (Malese Jow) and Zach (Jordan Calloway) to the wedding en route.
The whole gang plans to pull out all the stops. But the clock ticks as they are sidetracked on colorful streets by the likes of Peking Acrobats, a fortuneteller, a tattoo artist and a turtle-lobster race. In a comedy of errors, Ben lands in the clink just as Addie's on the brink of getting her moment with Jake. Will she be able to bail him out and get back to the church on time to set off romantic fireworks, or will she lose Jake to conniving Patti Perez? All her money is on the lobster. If he finishes first, it's a slam-dunk.
The series and the TV movie come courtesy of executive producer/creator Sue Rose (Pepper Ann, Angela Anaconda), an Emmy and Annie nominee who has been honored by such organizations as Girls Inc., First Americans in the Arts and Parents' Choice for her strong, female lead characters and quality programs. Kids tune in to see independent Addie navigate through the fabulous and unfabulous aspects of day-to-day life. She's a typical teen, aside from her penchant for sometimes silly but poignant song-writing, and her music helps her make sense of the sometimes unexplainable events that go hand-in-hand with adolescence, as she learns about romance and responsibility, friendship, and finding a balance.
New music is penned by hit singer/songwriter Jill Sobule ('90s hits Supermodel and I Kissed a Girl) and performed by Roberts. In response to its popularity, last year Nickelodeon and Columbia records released Unfabulous and More: Emma Roberts, which includes many of the songs from the first season as well as new music.
Roberts, who is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and the niece of Julia Roberts, has been featured on the big screen and will headline there as Nancy Drew in 2007. In 2001, she nailed her first acting audition and was cast by the late director Ted Demme as the daughter of Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in the box office hit Blow. In 2004, she appeared in lead roles in Grand Champion and Spymate. This year, she starred opposite Joanna "JoJo" Levesque in Aquamarine, a feature film about two girls who discover a mermaid.

Tween Leader TEENick Expels Back-To-School Blahs, Invites Laughter With Winning Trio of All-New Primetime Fall-Season Premieres, Sunday, September 24
Drake & Josh Gears Up for Oprah Encounter in Season Starter; Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide Offers New Grade Resolutions and Tips; Zoey 101 Reveals Romantic Resolution
A mighty trio of TEENick hit comedies -- Drake & Josh, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Zoey 101 -- conquers back-to-school blahs, Sunday, September 24 with all-new fall season primetime premieres. It's back-to-back, must-see TV when the top- rated live-action series for kids and tweens, Kids' Choice Award-winning Drake & Josh, kicks off the night -- and a fourth season -- at 7 p.m., followed by third season openers of blockbuster series Ned's Declassified at 7:30 p.m. and Zoey 101 starring Kids' Choice Award winner Jamie Lynn Spears at 8 p.m. (all times ET/PT).
Turnabouts, curveballs and a boatload of laughs rock the season premieres. In Drake & Josh/"Josh Runs into Oprah" Josh (Josh Peck) is jazzed at the prospect of meeting his TV idol when Drake (Kids' Choice winner for Favorite TV Actor, Drake Bell) gets tickets to "Oprah" for his birthday, but delight turns to dismay in the studio parking lot. As school bells ring on Ned's Declassified/"A New Grade" & "Dodgeball," the title tipster (Devon Werkheiser) enters the new world of eighth grade and resolves to conquer it, but best laid plans go raucously awry and Ned becomes an accidental bully. Zoey 101/"Surprise" finds take-charge Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears) embarking on new adventures at Pacific Coast Academy with a new roommate -- and reeling from a romantic revelation.
Tween leader Nickelodeon has been number one with that demo (kids 9-14) in total day ratings for 14 years, and TEENick shows continue to dominate the TV landscape. Instant hits since they debuted, Drake & Josh, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Zoey 101 account for three of the top five regularly scheduled live-action series on cable (total day) in 2Q 2006 with tweens (9- 14); Drake & Josh was tops followed by Ned's (#3) and Zoey (#4). Drake & Josh, which first broke records as Nick's highest rated series premiere in almost 10 years and started stripping M-F at 5:30 p.m. in February, has ranked as the number-one regularly scheduled live-action show with kids 2-11 and 9-14 for two consecutive quarters. Year-to-date, Nick averages a 2.56 Tween 9-14 rating, besting its competition by double digits.
Post-season premieres, TEENick's regular lineup on Sundays next season will include Romeo! (6 p.m.), The Amanda Show (6:30 p.m.), Drake & Josh (7 p.m.), Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide (7:30 p.m.), Zoey 101 (8 p.m.) and Unfabulous (8:30 p.m.).
As Zoey 101 heads back to the books amid ocean breezes, Zoey and Lola (Victoria Justice) find they have a new roommate, Quinn (Erin Sanders). This season the outnumbered girls still strive to survive and thrive at the newly co-ed boarding school, despite detractors like Logan (Matthew Underwood), and with the help of pals Chase (Sean Flynn) and Michael (Christopher Massey). In the season premiere, "Surprise," Lola and Quinn predict that Chase is going to profess his love to Zoey, but the truth is, he has a bigger surprise. Meanwhile, it looks like Logan and Michael just might fight to the finish to get the top bunk this year. Creator/executive producer is Dan Schneider (All That, The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, What I Like about You).
Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide continues to chronicle the wacky adventures of Ned Bigby (Devon Werkheiser) and his best pals Moze (Lindsey Shaw) and Cookie (Daniel Curtis Lee) at James K. Polk Middle School, as "every-kid" Ned shatters the fourth wall to share tips and tricks on jumping school hurdles. Each episode features two 11-minute romps. In the third-season premiere, "A New Grade" and "Dodgeball," new eighth grader Ned vows to be tougher and accidentally becomes the new bully -- swatting at a swarm of flies and unintentionally KO'ing nearby classmates; Moze vows to be nicer but copes with an I-teacher who's a monster in a monitor. And sans braces, Cookie pursues the new no-braces, non-sniffling Lisa Zemo. In "Dodgeball" team captain Ned must battle bully Loomer and his secret weapon Cookie, and he must do it without ace player Moze. Upcoming Survival Guides offer tips in dealing with pitfalls and problems of art class, popularity, social studies, the school play, revenge, bad hair days and much more. Scott Fellows (The Fairly OddParents) is creator/executive producer.
Drake & Josh's odd couple of teen stepbrothers, Drake Parker and Josh Nichols (Drake Bell and Josh Peck), share shenanigans that cement a brotherly bond. And it is singer-musician/ladies' man Drake who pulls responsible Josh into the high jinks. Miranda Cosgrove (School of Rock) hoodwinks them both as little sis Megan. In the season premiere, "Josh Runs into Oprah," after Drake forgets Josh's birthday -- and throws a big surprise party for his "girlfriend" of five days -- the guilt-racked teen atones by getting his brother tickets to Oprah. However, delight turns to dismay in the studio lot when the guys argue over parking and distracted driver Josh accidentally runs into his idol. Drake and Josh hightail it to the hospital to make amends -- and maybe meet Oprah -- but two huge bodyguards, a horde of reporters and a farcical scheme add up to another fiasco. This season, too, a Drake & Josh TV movie is on tap. Bell, who penned the show's theme song, continues to perform his original music. Creator/executive producer is Dan Schneider.

South of Nowhere, The N's original teen drama from The Tom Lynch Co., returns with a second season of 13 new half-hour episodes kicking off with a one-hour special on Friday, September 29 at 9:00 p.m. (ET), immediately following the one-hour premiere of Degrassi: The Next Generation at 8:00 p.m. (ET).
"We are proud to present season two of South of Nowhere, a series whose authentic treatment and portrayal of the complex issues of identity continue to engage and entertain our audience," said Sarah Tomassi Lindman, Vice President, Production and Programming, The N. "We hope teens will continue to enjoy the drama as they follow each character's personal struggle to define who they are and who they want to be."
"We really wanted this series to resonate with teens on an emotional level, so obviously I'm thrilled with the incredible audience response to season one," said creator-executive producer Tom Lynch. "In season two, we'll continue to explore provocative issues through realistic characters and rich storylines that accurately reflect the complicated challenges facing young people today. So I'd like to say to all our fans: Prepare for season two - It's going to rock your world!"
Emotions run deep and nothing is off limits, including ex-boyfriends, on the premiere episode of South of Nowhere. Spencer (Gabrielle Christian) accepts her sexuality, falls in love for the first time and seeks acceptance, understanding and reconciliation from her family, while her mother Paula does everything in her power to divert Spencer's infatuation with Ashley including bringing her best friend Debbie to Los Angeles from Ohio.
Ashley (Mandy Musgrave) copes with the sudden death of her father and the arrival of her long lost sister, Kyla (played by newcomer Eileen Boylan). Ashley and Kyla will have to live as sisters in the same home, go to the same school and share their lives in order to inherit their father's multi-million dollar estate. But when Kyla and Aiden (Matthew Cohen) strike up a romance, can Ashley truly look the other way?
The Carlin boys will face their own world of difficulty. After re- connecting with his birth mother, adopted son Clay (Danso Gordon) begins to question his relationships with his family, friends and girlfriend Chelsea (Aasha Davis). Glen's (Chris Hunter) life begins to spiral out of control when he sustains a basketball injury that will keep him on the bench permanently and ends his chances for a scholarship to Duke University. Realizing that Glen's basketball career looks glum, girlfriend Madison (Valery Ortiz) calls it quits and quickly tries to reconcile with past love Aiden. Glen will face his biggest challenge yet when a growing addiction to pain killers gets out of control and he confronts an uncertain future in Los Angeles.
South of Nowhere is a fictional story about a contemporary American family and their multi-faceted journey of self-discovery. Set in Los Angeles, the series chronicles the five members of the Carlin family as they try to define themselves and make sense of their lives while they undergo a huge transition -- moving from a small town in Ohio to the big city of Los Angeles. The Carlins find they are unprepared for the fast-paced, metropolitan environment and the overcrowded, "anything goes" L.A. public school the family's three teenagers attend. The family is at the heart of the series and while their characters are unique, they reflect many American families today -- bound by their evolving identity and their close relationships.

NBC AND TOYOTA TEAM UP TO REACH OUT TO HIGH SCHOOLS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES IN 50 COMMUNITIES WITH THE "TOYOTA PRESENTS 'FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS' HOMETOWN SWEEPSTAKES" -- NEW NATIONAL SCREENING CAMPAIGN OFFERS STUDENTS A CHANCE TO WIN ONE FOR THE TEAM
Campaign Kicks off September 8-30; Grand Prize Winner and Five Friends Fly to Austin, Texas to Appear in NBC's New Drama Series "Friday Night Lights" and Will Also Receive a $50,000 Contribution to Their High School Football Program; Four Second Prize Winners Receive $25,000 Contribution Each to Their Schools' Football Programs
NBC plans a rousing kickoff for its new drama "Friday Night Lights" (Tuesdays, 8-9 p.m. ET) with "Toyota Presents 'Friday Night Lights' Hometown Sweepstakes" -- a grassroots campaign that will target high school students in 50 communities and their football teams. The sweepstakes will ultimately provide a $50,000 contribution to the Grand Prize winner's high school football program while allowing four other $25,000 second prize contributions for the runner-up schools. In addition, the Grand Prize winning student and five friends will be flown to Austin, Texas (where the series films) to appear in an episode of "Friday Night Lights."
The announcement was made by John Miller, Chief Marketing Officer, NBC Universal Television Group and Kim McCullough, corporate manager, Toyota marketing communications.
"This community-based campaign is every bit as inspiring as 'Friday Night Lights,'" said Miller. "We expect it to create tremendous awareness and excitement on campus for our new drama and in the end, the schools and students will benefit the most thanks to our generous partnership with Toyota, which will donate funds to support the schools' football facilities."
"Presenting this innovative grassroots campaign is important for Toyota because it lets us forge a deep connection with local communities," said McCullough. "High school football is the heart and soul of America, and we're proud to give back to the passionate local fans and players in conjunction with this exciting new show."
The sweepstakes will be limited to current high school students from 14-18 years of age. The grassroots advertising campaigns in each selected market will consist of special screening notices and promotional kits to high schools that will include special sweepstakes posters, flyers, a football, and limited quantities of screening passes. Students will be directed to NBC.com/FridayNightLights where they will register for the sweepstakes and download a pass to the screening. Cast members from the series "Friday Night Lights" may appear in certain markets, perhaps even in their own hometown.
In addition, NBC will produce customizable promos and web assets for the NBC affiliate in each market to tie-in and localize the campaign. Stations will run these spots to announce the sweepstakes, screening location, and how to attend (or download a pass). Winners will be selected from a random drawing of sweepstakes registrants on NBC.com/FridayNightLights. The winners will be announced in an October episode of the show. In addition, NBC and Toyota will continue recognizing local communities by saluting each winning high school's football team in five special promos that will air within "Friday Night Lights."
The campaign, which began last week, will run throughout September and conclude on September 30. The screenings will take place in 50-targeted markets and will be scheduled from September 20-30 leading up to the premiere of "Friday Night Lights," on Tuesday, October 3, 8-9 p.m. ET. Screenings will be conducted in local movie theaters, which will function as a central location for students from competing schools in the market. There will be one screening per market.
Inspired by the book and the film "Friday Night Lights," NBC's poignant series centers on the small rural town of Dillon, Texas, where the coveted state football championship rings are held in the highest regard. Dillon's promising high school team, its star quarterback, and newly appointed head coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler, "King Kong," "Grey's Anatomy") feel the mounting pressure of the town's pride and honor riding on their shoulders as the Panthers' new football season kicks off.
The fresh cast also includes: Scott Porter ("The Bedford Diaries") as team captain and first-string quarterback Jason Street; Gaius Charles ("Book of Daniel") as feared running back Brian "Smash" Williams; Taylor Kitsch ("Kyle XY") as running back Tim Riggins; Connie Britton ("The Brothers McMullen," "24") as Taylor's supportive wife, Tami; Zach Gilford ("The Last Winter") as third-string quarterback Matt Saracen, and Minka Kelly ("What I Like About You") as Lyla Garrity, Panther cheerleader and Street's girlfriend.
Also starring are: Aimee Teegarden ("Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide") as Coach Taylor's daughter, Julie; Adrianne Palicki ("South Beach") as Tyra Collette, and Jesse Plemons ("Grey's Anatomy") as Landry Clarke.

Ty Pennington Provides Sears Holiday Shoppers With Extreme Stocking Stuffer Ideas
Ty Pennington, star of ABC's smash hit, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and Sears have teamed up again to redesign the classic stocking stuffer gift ideas and take them up a couple notches.
"The best thing this time of year is seeing people's reactions when you give them something they love, but wouldn't have thought of themselves," says Pennington. "Always remember that big wishes come in small packages. Give gifts that go beyond the norm. Whether practical, romantic or whimsical, Sears delivers the goods with value."
Here are some of Ty's tips for giving this season's stocking stuffers an extreme makeover, with style and versatility:
-- What better place to start than setting the holiday mood, whatever it
may be. Enlighten everyone on your list with the casual elegance and
warm vanilla scent of camel-colored Ty Pennington Style pillar candles
($19.99-29.99), paired with coordinated antique designed scroll
candleholders ($5.99-9.99) to make their wishes come true.
-- Exceed their wildest expectations and ring in the holiday with some
"oohs" and "ahhs." You can't go wrong with fine jewelry and just
imagine her surprise when she reaches into her stocking, expecting a
chocolate Santa, and pulls out a one-carat (total weight) diamond
anniversary band ($499).
-- Get something near and dear to their hearts, and I don't mean
fruitcake. For the music-lover on your list, Samsung's 1GB Personal
MP3 Flash Player with Picture Viewer ($170.99) will hold up to
250 songs, plus digital pictures can be stored and viewed on the vivid
color display. The enhanced 3-D sound and ultra-fast file transfers
will have them rocking around the Christmas tree!
-- Out with the old, in with the new. For something really unexpected,
give the Sony worryfreedigital camcorder ($599). It can record the
joy of everyday moments directly to 3-inch DVD-R/RW and +RW formats
that play back in most DVD players. Or give the Nikon Coolpix 8-MP
digital camera ($549.99) with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless
transfer of images. Welcome to the 21st Century!
-- Their stockings were hung by the chimney with care, and they hoped
that freedom soon be there with ... Sears gift cards! Anything is
possible with imagination, creativity and cards that never expire.
For an extra personal touch, Sears offers personalized photo gift
cards. The gift card is a blank photo frame and you add your own
photo or have a special photo taken at Sears' portrait studios.

WILLA HOLLAND CAST AS KAITLIN COOPER, MARISSA'S SISTER, ON "THE O.C."
Willa Holland has been cast in the role of "Kaitlin Cooper," Marissa's sister, on THE O.C. Holland begins production this week and will appear in a multi-episode arc starting in early 2006. THE O.C. airs Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Holland's character "Kaitlin Cooper," age 14, has returned to the O.C. during her winter break from an exclusive Montecito boarding school, bringing a lot of attitude and a few secrets of her own. Much more in the mold of her mother Julie Cooper than her sister Marissa, Kaitlin will wreak havoc, turn heads and introduce a darker, edgier element to the sun-drenched O.C.
"Willa is a real presence and a wonderful actress," says THE O.C. creator and executive producer Josh Schwartz. "She can be sweet as a little girl, but also dangerous and much more self-possessed than her age would suggest. She seems like Mischa Barton's little sister and looks it, too. She's a real original, with the same sophisticated allure that Mischa possesses. She's going to break a lot of hearts."
Holland, age 14, can be seen modeling in campaigns for Guess, Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch and Ralph Lauren. She has been a guest star on "The Comeback" and appeared in the FOX pilot for "The Inside." Holland grew up in London and Los Angeles and is the stepdaughter of director Brian De Palma. She currently lives with her family in Los Angeles.
From Wonderland Sound and Vision and College Hill Pictures and in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., THE O.C. is executive-produced by Josh Schwartz, Bob DeLaurentis and McG. Stephanie Savage serves as co-executive producer and Ian Toynton is supervising producer. The series stars Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohen), Kelly Rowan (Kirsten Cohen), Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan Atwood), Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper), Adam Brody (Seth Cohen), Melinda Clarke (Julie Cooper) and Rachel Bilson (Summer Roberts).
REGIS PHILBIN RINGS IN 2006 ON "NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE" SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31, ON FOX
Legendary television personality Regis Philbin will stay up late to capture the energy and excitement from New York City's Times Square, the epicenter of the country's largest New Year's countdown celebration, on NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE airing Saturday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) on FOX.
America has celebrated mornings with Philbin on "Live with Regis and Kelly"; played along with him when he hosted the popular primetime program "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire"; and now it's now time to party late-night with Philbin to help ring in the New Year. When asked about hosting NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE on FOX, Philbin said,
"I'm very happy to be asked to welcome in the New Year on TV. It's a once-a-year, one- of-a-kind show, and it's an honor to wish the country a Happy New Year."
FOX Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming and Specials Mike Darnell added: "Having a true New York icon like Regis ring in the New Year from Times Square is something we are already celebrating. He's a one-of-a-kind personality, and we're delighted he's on FOX."
As 2006 nears and the Big Apple swells with partygoers, Philbin will make his FOX network debut to host the late-night special, which will feature musical performances by today's hottest artists, celebrity interviews and a look back at 2005's most memorable moments in pop culture. The excitement will peak when the famed New Year's Eve Ball makes its descent in Times Square and the crowd erupts to welcome in 2006 – and FOX's cameras will be there to capture the celebration.

"7TH HEAVEN" TO GO OUT ON TOP
The WB Network and Spelling Television announced today that 7TH HEAVEN, the longest-running family drama in television history, will conclude its historic 10-year run on The WB at the end of this season.
The debut of 7TH HEAVEN launched The WB's first-ever Monday night broadcast on August 26, 1996, at 8:00 p.m. Remarkably, the series has remained in that timeslot ever since, holding its own against the 92 other series that have aired against it over the past 10 seasons. Recently the series celebrated its milestone 200th episode.
"We're announcing this decision now to ensure a monumental send-off for this series which has become one of the most important shows in the network's history," said David Janollari, President of Entertainment for The WB. "Brenda Hampton has already begun work on scripts for the second half of the season. These episodes will be filled with emotion and life-changing events. We owe a compelling and unforgettable final season to the Camden family and to the millions of viewers who helped grow this program into a huge hit. The WB is eternally grateful to Spelling Television, the producers, cast and crew of the little show that could -- and did."
"7TH HEAVEN is as dear to my heart as any series I have ever produced," said Aaron Spelling, legendary executive producer of the series. "Not many shows make it to 10 years and it's even rarer for a series to go out on top after 10 seasons. That result is a huge testament to Brenda Hampton, who created the series, and the phenomenal cast who have made the Camdens America's number one family for a record-breaking decade. I thank all of them and The WB for putting on a family show when it wasn't very cool to do so and then sticking with it in the same time slot for the entire run of the show. When 7TH HEAVEN launched on this new, little network in 1996, we had no inkling that we would one day make history, but we did and for that I am grateful and very, very proud."
"Although we had anticipated this could be the last season, it was difficult breaking the news to the cast and crew," said Brenda Hampton. "At this point, we're all very much a family. However, just like the Camden kids, I think we've all grown up and it's simply time to leave home. We choose to feel happy and blessed to have been part of this series, and we are very grateful to all our fans."
"7TH HEAVEN has been a gift," said Stephen Collins. "Going to work on something every day that means so much to so many people is pure joy. Working with Aaron Spelling, Brenda Hampton and The WB, plus making a bit of TV history while watching our wonderful cast grow up in real time, has been the experience of a lifetime."
7TH HEAVEN stars Stephen Collins as Reverend Eric Camden, Catherine Hicks as Annie Camden, Barry Watson as Matt Camden, David Gallagher as Simon Camden, Beverley Mitchell as Lucy Kinkirk, Mackenzie Rosman as Ruthie Camden, Nikolas and Lorenzo Brino as Sam and David Camden, George Stults as Kevin Kinkirk and Tyler Hoechlin as Martin Brewer. Jessica Biel was also a member of the series' original cast. Both Biel and Barry Watson have gone on to successful film careers, and Biel was recently named "The Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine.
7TH HEAVEN achieved 19 of the top 20 all-time episodic deliveries for The WB among total viewers (Persons 2+). Among women 18-49, the family drama scored 17 of the all-time top 20 WB performances. On February 8, 1999, the birth of the Camden twins accomplished the historic feat of ranking #1 in its time slot against all competition among total viewers (12.5 million). That episode, "In Praise of Women," still holds the all-time WB ratings record in adults 18-49 (4.6/12), women 18-49 (6.3/15), and households (7.4/11), along with total viewers (12.5 million).
The series has chronicled the many complex problems of growing up in the world today. The young adults on 7TH HEAVEN have been exposed to issues ranging from teen suicide and sibling rivalry to violence in schools. Storylines have touched on such topics as the Holocaust, hate crimes, prejudice against Muslims, drug use, vandalism, the right to vote, drinking and driving, teen pregnancy and homelessness. Reflecting the headlines of our times, episodes have also focused on the "Lost Boys" of The Sudan, a real-life American serviceman who was killed in Afghanistan and a law allowing teenage mothers to turn their unwanted babies over to hospitals with no questions asked.
The series has received honors from the Parents Television Council, The Media Project's Shine Awards, Entertainment Industries Council's Prism Awards, Viewers Voice, Anti-Defamation League, Film Advisory Board, Academy of Religious Broadcasting, Kids Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Family Friendly Forum Awards and the TV Guide Awards. In addition, TV Guide named 7TH HEAVEN as "The Best Show You're Not Watching," in 1996.
Over the past 10 seasons, 7TH HEAVEN has welcomed many legendary film and television stars, including Tim Conway, Ray Walston, Ernest Borgnine, Bo Derek, Richard Lewis, Ed Begley, Jr., Melissa Gilbert, Peter Graves, Deborah Raffin, Phyllis Diller, Wayne Newton, Barbara Rush, Eileen Brennan, Dorian Harewood, Brenda Strong, Martha Plimpton, Laraine Newman, Mackenzie Phillips, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Meredith Baxter, Cindy Williams, Ashley Simpson, Gabrielle Union and Lance Bass, among many others. Additionally, several guest stars went on to star in other series for The WB, including Keri Russell ("Felicity"), Allison Mack ("Smallville"), Matt Czuchry ("Gilmore Girls") and Kaley Cuoco ("Charmed").
7TH HEAVEN was created by Brenda Hampton ("Fat Actress," "Mad About You," "Blossom"), who also serves as executive producer along with Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent. Spelling and Vincent are also executive producers of The WB's "Charmed," produced by Spelling Television, Inc., a Paramount/Viacom company.

NASHVILLE STAR Returns for Its Highly-Anticipated Fourth Season

NASHVILLE STAR, USA Network's original grassroots talent search to find America's next great country music star and the nation's top-rated country music program, will give another talented and deserving artist their big break when the show returns for its fourth season, it was announced today by Jeff Wachtel, USA's executive vice president of original programming.
"NASHVILLE STAR works because it showcases the best untapped musical talent on television," explains Wachtel. "One thing we've learned over the past three seasons is that there's an incredible pool of talented performers whose voices have yet to be heard."
"I had been in Nashville for a decade writing songs," says first season winner Buddy Jewell. "NASHVILLE STAR landed me a record deal and gave me the opportunity to perform my own songs on the show in front of millions of Americans each week -- with fan reactions via email and through my website. It would have taken me years to get that sort of dedicated fan base without the support of those people who followed the show," says Jewell.
NASHVILLE STAR will launch a national casting tour beginning at the Saddle Ranch Chop House in Universal City, Los Angeles, on October 21 from 12:00- 6:00pm and continuing on to 16 cities across America including Chicago, Dallas, DC, Portland, Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Jewell debuted his self-titled CD at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and was eventually certified gold by the RIAA. Runner-up Miranda Lambert became a household name when her "Kerosene" became the highest-selling debut album of 2005. She is currently a front-runner for CMA's Horizon Award honoring new talent. Erika Jo, the most recent NASHVILLE STAR, landed at No. 5 on the same chart with her self-titled debut CD and at No. 27 on the Hot 200 Album Chart (all genres), outselling Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, Tim McGraw and Shania Twain, among others.

The N, the nighttime network for teens, has signed a development deal with actor/writer/director Ralph Macchio. The network has tapped the former teen star who will return to television -- only this time behind the scenes -- as creator of a compelling new teen drama about two runaway girls.
"We are honored to be working with Ralph on this new project," said Amy Friedman, Senior Vice President, Development, The N. "As a father of a teenager and an icon in the teen landscape, he truly understands how to tell meaningful stories to this audience."
Macchio will also be part of the upcoming new DVD release of The Outsiders - The Complete Novel -- Francis Ford Coppola's new version of his 1983 film adaptation of the renowned S.E. Hinton best seller. The DVD will arrive in stores on September 20 from Warner Home Video (WHV) as a restored Two-Disc DVD. Macchio was part of the original all-star cast including, C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise and Leif Garrett.
As a filmmaker, Macchio has written and directed a short entitled "LOVE THY BROTHER" which premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival and can now be seen on HBO. In television, he is co-creating, with Todd Holland, a half-hour comedy series pilot entitled "THE RALPH SHOW" through 20th Century Fox Television. He also is planning to direct his feature film "MANGLED CARE" sometime in 2006.
As an actor, Macchio was last seen as a guest star on the hit HBO series, ENTOURAGE. With an extensive list of film credits, he is perhaps best known for his celebrated performance as "Johnny" in Frances Ford Coppola's, "THE OUTSIDERS"; the hit film "MY COUSIN VINNY" and for the title roles in the popular "THE KARATE KID" and its successors, "THE KARATE KID II" and "THE KARATE KID III". Other film credits include, "TEACHERS", "A GOOD NIGHT TO DIE", "FOREVER TOGETHER", "TOO MUCH SUN" and "UP THE ACADEMY". Macchio received critical acclaim for the title role in the ABC television film, "THE LAST POW? THE BOBBY GARWOOD STORY". His other television movie credits include, "THE THREE WISHES OF BILLY GRIER," "DANGEROUS COMPANY", as well as the series "EIGHT IS ENOUGH."
